# anyfamily > The any* family: eight micro, zero-dependency JavaScript/TypeScript formatters built on the runtime's native `Intl` — dates, numbers and money, lists, region and language names with flags, durations, plurals, words and graphemes, and locale behaviour — in any locale, with no bundled data. Plus two meta packages: everything in one install, and React hooks. Every package exports exactly one name. The bare call does the job; extras hang off that name (`anywhen.parts(date)`, `anyword.count(text)`, `anylong.supported`). Options are a plain object; `locale` is a BCP 47 tag or a fallback chain. ESM + CJS, TypeScript types included, SSR-safe, MIT. Each package link below is its own page for agents — pitch, usage, what it is not for, then the full README. Everything as one file: https://anyfamily.site/llms-full.txt ## Core packages - [anywhen](https://anyfamily.site/anywhen/llms.txt): dates & times — Dates and times the way your reader expects them: written out, shortened, or just 3 hours ago. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anywhen. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anywhen - [anyamount](https://anyfamily.site/anyamount/llms.txt): money & numbers — Prices, quantities and units written the way each locale writes them. One call, any currency. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anyamount. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anyamount - [anymany](https://anyfamily.site/anymany/llms.txt): lists — An array into a sentence — sorted and joined the way the locale does it, not the way English does. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anymany. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anymany - [anyaround](https://anyfamily.site/anyaround/llms.txt): names & flags — Country, language, script and currency codes into the names people actually read, flag included. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anyaround. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anyaround - [anylong](https://anyfamily.site/anylong/llms.txt): durations — Durations that read like language: two hours thirty, from whatever shape you already have. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anylong. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anylong - [anyplural](https://anyfamily.site/anyplural/llms.txt): plurals — One item or five, first or twenty-first — the right wording every time, even where there are six forms. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anyplural. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anyplural - [anyword](https://anyfamily.site/anyword/llms.txt): words & graphemes — Words, characters and sentences counted the way people see them, emoji and spaceless scripts included. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anyword. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anyword - [anylocale](https://anyfamily.site/anylocale/llms.txt): locale behaviour — How a locale behaves: which way text runs, when the week starts, which days are the weekend. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anylocale. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anylocale ## Meta packages - [anyfamily](https://anyfamily.site/anyfamily/llms.txt): the whole family in one install — All eight any* packages re-exported from one dependency — for the app that wants every formatter without eight installs. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anyfamily. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anyfamily - [anyfamily-react](https://anyfamily.site/anyfamily-react/llms.txt): every formatter as a hook — React hooks for the family, a shared locale provider with per-hook defaults, relative time that keeps itself fresh, and useAnyfamily() for the whole set bound at once. Docs: https://anyfamily.site/docs/anyfamily-react. npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/anyfamily-react ## Source and standards - Repository: https://github.com/kirilinsky/anyfamily - Package standard (the shape every package follows): https://github.com/kirilinsky/anyfamily/blob/main/PACKAGE-STANDARD.md - Roadmap: https://github.com/kirilinsky/anyfamily/blob/main/plans.md - Live demos: https://anyfamily.site/, API reference: https://anyfamily.site/docs/
